An APK talent for altering the speed of atoms and molecules, so as to change the temperature of an object of being; see its two main subsets: Heat Control and Cold Control.
Temple
A Sacred place of ritual worship. The ritual circle; if indoors, the building or room that houses the Magick Circle; Church or Sanctuary.
Temple Summoner
Coven’s right-hand man. A skilled individual who assists the High Priest and High Priestess.

Divination by ashes obtained from burning tree bark.

Thaumaturgy
"Low magick" used to influence things and events in everyday life.
Thealogy
Intellectual speculations concerning the nature of the Goddess and Her relations to the world in general and humans in particular; rational explanations of religious doctrines, practices and beliefs, which may or may not bear any connection to any religion as actually conceived and practiced by the majority of its members.
Theocratic Monarch
A human being who rule as the representative of a god or gods, and believes that he or she is the divine made flesh (and therefore better than the common rabble).
Theurgy
"High magick" employed to connect with deity and foster spiritual growth or transformation.
The All
The energy-force that “runs” the universe. Many Wiccans believe that our “All” is the same as other religion’ Gods.

The alternate rising and falling of the seas and oceans that occurs twice a day and is caused by the gravitational attraction of the sun and the moon occurring unequally on different parts of the earth.

A liquid produced by soaking plant parts/herbs, in ethyl alcohol or vinegar, to produce a scented liquid.

Used symbolically in names for the Under World. (i.e. TIR-nan-og.)
Tir-nan-og
“Land of the Young,” or Faerie Land. Many Celts believe that upon death, the soul enters the land of Tir-nan-og.

Type of divination using cheese.
Tools, Ritual/Magickal
Any of a number of ritual and magickal tools used for specific purposes. These include the Athame, Pentacle, wand, divinatory devices such as tarot cards, magickal stones, amulets, talisman, etc.
Topaz
A magickal stone whose qualities are that of strength of the insight, knowledge, devotion, divine love and creativity.
Torc
Circular metal necklace, common in many Celtic traditions as well as many different traditions from Northern England and Ireland. Used as a symbol of initiation and respect following death ceremonies. The shape of the necklace is thought by some scholars to be a reference to the snake, Ourobouros swallowing it’s own tail and thus a return to one’s source, a concept analogous the "Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust" of Christian religions. Also used as a symbol of protection and good fortune that was hung over doorways in much the same way horseshoes are used today.
Totem
Your power animal. This is a creature you can become, on an astral level, see through it’s eyes, hear with it’s ears.

A magickal stone whose qualities are that of strength of the spirit, regeneration, creativity and growth.
Trad
A family or group tradition or denomination within the Traditional Witchcraft of the British Isles. Some Trads are hereditary while others are not.
Tradition
Branch of paganism followed by any individual Pagan or coven. Traditions, Wiccan: An organized, structured, specific Wiccan sub-group, usually initiatory, with often-unique ritual practices. Many Traditions have their own Book of Shadows and may or may not recognize members of other Traditions as Wiccan. Most Traditions are composed of a number of Covens as well as solitary practitioners.
Tradition, High
The High Traditions are a council of Wiccan/Pagan leaders in America.
Traditional Craft
Another term for Traditional Witchcraft of the British Isles, also known as Trad Witchcraft, the Traditional Craft, or the Craft.
Traditionalist
This refers to a Traditional Witch, also called a Traditional Crafter or Crafter, one that follows the traditions of a Trad in the Traditional Witchcraft of the British Isles.

A trance is an altered state of consciousness.
Transcendent
Far surpassing the ordinary range of human excellence, or surpassing all human knowledge.
Transit
The passing across a meridian on a celestial body by another celestial sphere.
Transmutation
An APK talent for changing the atomic structure of matter, so as to alter its elemental or molecular nature.

To be carried over to the astral plane; astral projection.

A writing that treats a subject; specifically, one that provides in a systematic manner and for an expository or argumentative purpose a methodical discussion of the facts and principles involved and conclusions reached.

A metaphor for the connection between God and man, used in Cabala.
Tribal Magical Systems
All systems of magic and mysticism practiced by peoples living in tribal cultures at any time in the past or present, anywhere in the world.
Trilithon
A stone arch made from two upright slabs with one lying atop these. Trilithons are featured in Stonehenge as well as the circle visualization in The Standing Stones Book of Shadows.
Trine
The favorable astrological aspect of two celestial bodies 120 degrees apart.
Triple Goddess
One Goddess in all of Her three aspects: Maiden, Mother, Crone.
Triskelion
A triple, overlapping triangle symbol and represents Fate(s). One side of each triangle is missing, and this gives an overall impression of movement & activity, of energy in action.

Twin Soul
At the time of your creation into a spiritual essence, you were created with an equal counterpart. Many people call this simultaneous creation of two spiritual beings the birth of Souls, thereby making your counterpart your Twin Soul. These two souls progress along their spiritual paths on a very individualistic basis. Never incarnating together, and most likely not even in the same solar system. It's part of the Universal balance, the creation of Yin and Yang so to speak.
